What’s one of the best parts about living in a community right on the water? Watching the boats in the harbor. And lucky for us Annapolis dwellers, we have a lot of beautiful boats bobbing around our waterways.
This is one of the main reasons Annapolis hosts some amazing boat shows, including the boat show taking place this week: October 5th through October 9th.
Sailboats from Around the World
This coming week, the docks of Annapolis will fill with sailboats from around the world. The United States Sailboat Show is the last remaining in-water sailboat show in the world, and it’s taking place right on our shores.
Internationally acclaimed, this show will allow attendees to:
- Tour various sailboats
- Browse over 150 sailing exhibits
- Sign up for sailing lessons
- Purchase any sea-faring gear imaginable
In addition, education courses are available for all types of sailors, from free seminars for beginners to premium workshops available for those with seasoned sea-legs.
In the end, you will find what you’re looking for, no matter what your sailing expertise is.
The History and Pride of Annapolis
The first ever all-sail, in-water boat show took place in Annapolis in October of 1970, and since then it has grown into an event to make our city proud.
This is what being a part of a coastal community is all about.
